Buddy, A K-9 Veteran and My Best Friend

Buddy was a 10 year old Australian Cattle Dog who served in the United States Army. Buddy was trained in tracking, explosive detection, patrol, search and rescue, and also attack. He finished his mission and became a service dog for the disabled veterans.

My name is David and I am a disabled veteran. I was fortunate to have Buddy as my service dog and companion for seven years. Buddy and I were very close.

My front door was left open and he went for a walk, crossed over a busy street when a driver intentionally aimed for him and ran him over according to witnesses. Buddy had passed away at the scene.

The reason for this fund raiser is that I would like to have a private cremation and have a special keepsake for him. I am a disabled veteran and can't afford to do this for my best friend. Anything you can do for him would be very much appreciated.
