Hey friends,

As some of you may know, our brother and friend Buddha lost his father unexpectedly . His father was Phil Balsam and he and Buddha were very close. Phil and his wife Emily have been married just over 53 years.

Buddha and I were talking about his dad the day before he passed, and per Buddha, his dad Phil "is and was a cool cat". No doubt.

The loss of Phil came unexpectedly and the family is need of a little neighborly love to ease the costs that come with this.

Buddha has been there for all of us with a funny story, a deep thought disguised in jest and of course, he has serenaded us with his percussions in NOLA- let's give back a little.
