Hello Friends and Family!

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page.

I have had the amazing opportunity to attend the Atlantis Fellowship program in Summer of 2022. For those of you that don't know what Atlantis is, it is a chance of a lifetime in which I will be able to shadow doctors in Genoa, Italy and experience traveling the country with likeminded individuals.

I will be abroad for three weeks and shadowing doctors at two different hospitals, observing a new specialty every week. As amazing as this opportunity is, I will need help with funding the trip. The cost of the program itself is $7000 and airfare will be between $1200-1500. Any amount helps and I am so grateful for you guys.

This trip means so much to me because it not only is an amazing chance to experience a new culture and a new environment of healthcare but also, the reason behind my passion, my mom. My mother was diagnosed with Stage 4B ovarian cancer when I was 16 years old and as I navigated her illness by her side, I developed a passion for medicine and a desire to help people in any way I could. My mother was my best friend and we loved to travel together. She passed away in August of 2021 but I can just hear the exact words she would have said when I told her I was accepted. First, she would have congratulated me and been extremely excited but that excitement would have been followed up with "So what if I come with and we explore together on the weekends?". By doing this fellowship, it is the best way I know how to honor my mother.
