Bud Myers is a loving husband, father, and grandpa. He has been a member of the Reynoldsville community for 60+ years and a proud business owner of Bud’s Greenhouses for 20+ years. He has always been a good, hardworking man and tried to help others in any and every way he could. With his recent health crisis, this is a time that he is going to need help from his family, friends, and neighbors.

After a long health struggle he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His tumor is pressing into his liver and main artery to his bowels causing it to be inoperable at this time. He has already undergone 2 stent surgeries to allow his liver to resume working. His doctors are hopeful that with chemotherapy his tumor will shrink and be able to be surgically removed. It will be a long road consisting of at least 6 months of Chemotherapy and a large operation called a Whipple procedure. Bud is a strong man and will fight with all he has.

To make this time even more stressful, Bud's out of pocket insurance amounted is astronomical. I’m asking that we come together as a community and help take some of the financial burden off of him and his family. In addition to this gofund me page for direct donations, we will be planning upcoming fundraisers for Bud and his family, activities to boost Bud’s spirits throughout treatment, and updates on his care and treatment.
