Breeana Ball is a 27-year old PRN surgical technician for HCA. She is a devoted mother, daughter, wife, sister, step-mom, auntie, friend and coworker. She went to Connecticut on vacation and contracted COVID. She was admitted to Stamford Hospital with shortness of breath and was immediately sent to the ICU. Her pneumonia progressed from viral to both viral and bacterial. She took a turn for the worse late Thursday and was heavily sedated, intubated and put on a respirator.

Her family, friends, and coworkers are devastated and are asking for financial help.

UPDATE: August 7, 2021: From her husband Nathan: “Small but positive progress!! They were able to take her off the paralytic and her body is no longer fighting the ventilator. Also they were able to slightly lower her oxygen intake, which is still on a high setting BUT moving in the right direction. Small issue keeping her blood pressure up, but that’s normal and being treated. Small improvements BUT improvements nonetheless.”
