Buckingham Road Public Access Defibrillator
I am a resident of Cheadle Hulme and I use the
shops on Buckingham Road frequently, as do
hundreds of other residents and visitors on a daily basis.
There is no public access 24/7 defibrillator in this
area and the nearest one is outside The Kings Tap
which is 1/2 mile away. This is too far to access
quickly.
There are approx 60,000 cases of out of hospital
cardiac arrests every year in the UK and if a
defibrillator is used within the first minute then
survival rate is 90%. Without the use of a
defibrillator the survival rate reduces by 7-10%
every minute.
I also run a first aid and trauma training company
KUSAB LTD and so helping to keep people safe is
very important to us.
Therefore we would like you to help us to raise
£2000 to buy a public access defibrillator. All
money raised will go towards this and any left over after the purchase will be put back into the
community.
Please donate what you can ... Every little helps
and you or a family member may benefit from it
one day
