Hi Jared and Emma here, Buckeye was rehomed to Emma a little over a year ago through Craigslist and welcomed into my home a few months ago. Every person that meets buck knows he’s the best and most well behaved dog. He loves going on his Saturday morning coffee trips or going to events our friends have at Midnight Hour or Varsity and seeing all his friends. Over the last few weeks our beloved buck has developed a limp/skip when he walks. Concerned, we took buck to the vet and received the news he has a torn ACL in his left hind leg, we were told this could be an older injury that’s just gotten worse and most likely the reason he was rehomed in the first place. Being that this is a preexisting injury this is not covered by insurance. Rather than waiting around we would like to get this taken care of sooner rather than later as with dogs once one ACL is torn the other starts to deteriorate quickly.
