Bucket List for incurable cancer

Hi friends

I’ll be brief because time is a very limited supply for me right now.

My name is Elena, I’m 23 and I was born in Rome, Italy under the Libra moon.

I’m doing this today because, sadly, the ovarian carcinoma I’ve been dealing with since I was 14 seems to be getting the best of me, in so many ways.

I’ve gone through an unimaginable amount of pain and loss during these 9 years, finding myself grieving the future I thought I was gonna have, together with being mentally and physically exhausted. I’ve been in survival mode basically my whole life without being able to really be happy or light hearted.

Just a couple of months ago, my oncologist told me what I have been dreading since I realised how serious my situation was. You see, at 14 you don’t really understand how bad and permanent something like this is, you don’t even at 16 or 17, you just slowly take conscience of what’s really happening and realise realistically what your future will look like.

“At this point we don’t think your situation will ever get better. We can try to prolong your life but we only have so many options”.

So, I guess here I am. I wish I never had to do this, but this is my only hope to live a little while I can.

I’m making a bucket list of things I want to do while I’m given the opportunity to, and I’m asking to those who want to help me, to contribute in making it happen.

Neither me or my family have enough money to sustain my dreams, but I hope someone will help me with my bucket list. I just want to see so many things. I hope I will.
