Bucca’s emergency surgery

My roommate and good friend’s very sweet and silly cat Bucca is not doing well and is in hospital right now awaiting emergency surgery. I’ve started this gofundme in the hopes that we as a community can ease some of the costs that come along with this kind of procedure. All donated funds will go directly to covering vet bills and kitten recovery time. Bucca is a very precious part of our lives and so any little bit of support would be so appreciated.

 The vets told us that when Bucca was unstable prior to surgery it was because he was septic. He was amazing during surgery as it ended up being not as invasive and complicated as anticipated. He was kept for 2 days post op as his bilirubin was elevated from prior sepsis, pancreatitis or fatty liver. He’s going home! The original quote was 8k, however since the surgery was less invasive, the total bill is $6000. Thank you to everyone who has donated thus far!
