Bub was Yates’ shadow, his best friend, and the unofficial mascot of our wiring department. Ever since Yates started working here, Bub came along with him every day—padding through the door like he owned the place, always on the lookout for someone to play with (he loved getting empty water bottles from the trash can and bringing them to you as a gift/toy).

He was a daily joy and a quiet comfort to everyone in the building, and when he stopped bounding in one day, we all felt it. A few weeks ago, Bub began showing signs of chest pain, and then, heartbreakingly, his back legs stopped working. Yates rushed him to multiple vets, ultimately spending over $10,000 trying to save his best friend. Sadly, Bub was diagnosed with an aggressive spinal tumor and passed shortly after. While no amount of money can bring Bub back, we’re hoping to help Yates recover from the financial strain of doing everything he could for the dog he loved so much.
