Bubbles' Cancer Journey

2021 has been a tough year for everyone. My family was challenged especially. My dad got diagnosed with esophageal cancer back in 2020 and he passed away May 11, 2021. Sadly, the same month (May 5th) I got the news that everyone is dreading. I have cancer myself. It has been a lot for my family as we are not yet over grieving the loss of my dad, and now, we have to deal with my diagnosis, the same illness that took him.
Having been diagnosed with breast cancer, I learned that I will be undergoing double mastectomy, reconstructive surgery, chemo therapy, radiation and hormone suppression treatment. It had been tough financially. I worked 3 jobs to provide medical assistance to my father when he was sick. I worked 7 days a week and an average of 13 to 15 hours daily. I have to quit those part time to focus on gettingready fortreatment. However, I have to face the fact that I may need financial assistance myself.
Even though I got diagnosed, I initially worried more about the people around me. My family, my friends, my job. It felt like I am letting people down. It took some time for me to realize (still putting myself in a mindset), I have to fight this. I need to face my biggest battle yet so that I can continue on helping and serving others like I used to. I decided that I would approach this with a positive attitude and laugh at everything that comes my way, may it be good or bad. They are just boobs anyway, right? :)
Known to only a few, I had been going to a government hospital back in the Philippines during the Christmas season for 14 years, giving toys, food and hygiene kits to indigent kids that are battling cancer themselves and the same illness that I had dedicated my own time and resources to is the same one that I would have a stand off today.
Help in anyway is appreciated. Financial, Emotional, and Spiritual support are the things I need. Even a simple 'you can do this' would go a long way
I kinda came up with a cancer surgery registry. If you can let me borrow items without buying them , that would be better. I plan to donate everything once I am done battling this thing.

I love you all and I will definitely fight this.
