Russell Manning, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed on July 30, 2025. He was surrounded by loved ones during his last days on earth. He was loved by many and he will never be forgotten. There is no one like him. Russell, Bubba- we will miss you forever and will cherish the many laughs that you have given us over the years ❤️

On Saturday, July 12, my uncle Russell (Bubba) suffered a severe ischemic brainstem stroke. He has been in the hospital since, on life support. This stroke has damaged 90% of his brainstem function, meaning it’s likely he will never talk or walk again. He will need a permanent breathing and feeding tube and be bed-bound for the rest of his life.

This has been a difficult time for our family. The financial burden of medical bills and potential funeral expenses all fall on my grandparents. We are asking for help to alleviate some of that stress for them.

FAST:

Face: Facial drooping or weakness on one side

Arm: Weakness or numbness in one arm

Speech: Difficulty speaking, slurred speech, or trouble understanding words

Time: It's crucial to act quickly and call 911 immediately if you or someone you know experiences these symptoms.
