Bubba's Journey: A Family in Crisis

Hi, my name is Alexa. I'm reaching out for a friend in Gambia. My fiancé and I have been helping as much as we can for the last two years, but we financially can't do as much as we'd like to help this family. Our friend's name is Bubba, and here is his story:

I am 20 years old, living with my 6 little siblings. We lost both our parents, and I am the one and only person looking after us. I’m a young black Christian ✝️. Because of the way of Christ✝️, my society has abandoned me and my family. The Gambia is a Muslim society, so we are isolated. I don’t know what to say either. I take care of my family with the illegal job I do. I go to the forest, but sometimes if I meet people there, I go home, and we sometimes stay without food for 2 to 3 days. I am spreading the word of God and posting pictures of my country. It’s a lovely country with amazing places that attract tourists to come here every day. But the government doesn’t care for the people or their living conditions. I wish everyone could see it one day, to know how it goes here.

-Bubba also has a goal of getting something that is similar to a golf cart or bicycle to work and provide for his family himself without asking for anything to be fully independent. Thanks
