Bubba’s GoFundMe

Alexandrea Duong, affectionately known to most of us as Bubba or Bubz, has struggled for 8 years with severe abdominal pain. In the last 6 months, her pain has become significantly worse. This has landed her in the emergency room more than once. She has seen several specialists, including gynecologists, gastroenterologists, and rheumatologists to try and figure out the cause of her pain. She has had exploratory surgery and 2 CT scans of her abdomen to try and figure out what is going on inside of her body. Unfortunately, these procedures have provided no answers for her. Bubba also has fibromyalgia, which is a cause of debilitating wide-spread pain, but her doctors tell her the two are not related. She has had to resort to working with a pain clinic just to try and get through her daily life. She has had to give up her passion of coaching Crossfit, which was very important to her. She becomes so overwhelmed with pain at times that she becomes very physically ill, and some days she cannot even leave her bed. She has finally had to resort to seeking help from The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. However, her stay could be lengthy, and due to her illness she has not been able to regularly work. We are seeking help for her to cover travel and lodging expenses, as well as lost wages, as this has made it nearly impossible for her to live the life that is so valuable to her. Bubba has 3 children and a loving husband, and she needs our help to seek further care and find out what is causing her so much pain. Anyone who knows Bubba knows that she is the most loyal person you will EVER meet. She would give the shirt off her back for anyone. She deserves help more than most people I know, and I can tell you without a doubt, she would donate to anyone in her situation without thinking twice about it. She would never ask for help herself, that’s just how she is. Let’s make this happen for her. Thank you, everyone.
