Hello,

My name is Tony Gatlin Jr. Everyone has always called me "Bubba." In a way, it's more my name than my actual name . I consider myself to be a good person. Never really had anything, but whatever I did have, I would share with people who I thought needed it. Most of my life, I have been a hard worker. I'm an iron worker/sheet metal worker, or whatever you want to call it. I build metal buildings, carports, warehouses, storage buildings, etc. I like to think that I am pretty good at what I do. I started my first metal job at 16, and I am 43 now, so after 27 years of experience, I should be anyway.

Well, 3 weeks ago, I had an accident and slid off the roof, falling around 11 to 12 feet straight down to my back. I went straight to the hospital, Temple Scott and White, and was diagnosed with an L1 Lumbar burst fracture, which means one of my vertebrae is busted on one side with tiny pieces of bones pushing out and could, with the wrong movements, still cause paralysis. Also, my left hand had a ligament pulled, and my left arm and elbow are fractured, with the plus that I am left-handed. So as of now, I have no income and cannot, and might not be able to, do the job that I have always done. This, as everyone alive knows, doesn't stop the bills from coming in.

I do not like to ask for something that I cannot pay back. I have always tried hard to pay my dues. But I don't know what to do now, and I am asking for anyone who can help me without hurting themselves financially to please help me so my family and I are not on the street, me with a broken back and arm at that.
