Bubba's melanoma and Bella's diabetes fund
Donation protected
Bubba is an energetic, sweet, loveable bundle of joy. He was found as a stray in Detroit and brought to the shelter. Because of his overabundance of energy, nobody wanted him and he was put on death row. On 12/26/2015 I rescued him. Or did he rescue me? I think that's really the case. Bubba has helped me through some very difficult times and I would do anything for him.
This week Bubba developed a spot on his chest. The vet is sure it's melanoma, but we have to have it tested next Friday to see how bad it is. After that another visit for blood work and shots, and then it will be on to surgery. Unfortunately I am not financially capable of paying for the surgery, and without it the melanoma will spread to his lymph nodes, and the cancer will ravage his body, ruining his quality of life until it's so far gone I'll have no other option but to put him down.
Bubba is still so young and full of life. I don't want him to have to suffer and die early, just because I'm not recovered financially from a devastating life event.
I know times are hard for everyone right now, but I'd you could spare anything to help Bubba, he and I will be forever grateful.
Bubba deserves a chance. Please help if you can.
I have had to add my cat Bella to this fundraiser, and raise the goal, because she has just been diagnosed with diabetes and her treatment has so far taken $700 from the total we raised. Her sugars were at 570 when the highest they should be is 180 and we had to rush her into treatment. She has just gotten home and is down to 320 now, but there's still a ways to go before she's out of the woods.
