Hey, my name is Molly Silvestri and I’m raising money for my niece, Brianna McCoy. She is a 2018 Ledford Senior High School graduate. Brianna was involved in a serious head on car accident on October 30th. She was pinned in her vehicle and after the heroes from the fire department cut her out of the car, she was airlifted to Baptist hospital. She was coming home from one of her nursing classes at Davidson County Community College and had planned to join me and her mom to go to the Bargain Bin in Lexington that morning. She is 23 years old and was going to school to be a nurse. Brianna’s home for the past few years has been with her great grandmother, Grace as her caregiver. Brianna’s sacrifice to care for her allowed Grace to remain on the farm where she has spent most of her life as opposed to moving to an assisted living facility. After arriving at Baptist, we learned just how critical her condition is. She was immediately rushed into surgery to reduce the swelling on her brain. She has had several additional surgeries since, including repairing her broken pelvis, jaw and and chin. Brianna has a long recovery ahead of her, and needs your support and donations to assist with medical expenses and supplies for the new path she’s setting off on. Although she didn’t ask for or expect to be in this situation, Brianna is a fighter and she continues to fight every day as a survivor. We ask that you continue to pray for her while she takes this journey.
