Many of you may know from watching Kumi Tucker on WNYT News Channel 13
that a Guilderland family's puppy, Chase, was shot by someone outside their home while walking to his human. The vet has decided not to take the bullet out at this time because it is close to his spine and inches from his heart. They and their 3 children, 5 and under, are in shock because his sister Skye suffered a more extensive injury this past October, right outside their home, under similar circumstances. Skye tragically died after enduring numerous surgeries and heroic attempts to save her. The vet at the time suspected a gunshot wound as well but due to extensive vomiting she likely evacuated the bullet. The family now knows in hindsight she was shot as was Chase. The police are investigating and we hope this dog hating perpetrator will be arrested.
Trying to save Skye and Chase has been expensive. The family's vet bills have exceeded $29,000.00. As a young family, that now also needs to move, they have struggled to pay these bills and the interest payments. In addition to prayers, that this evil person is found , could you help them out?
