Hi everyone, my name is Alexandra Nihan (formerly Gunn). I've made this GoFundMe for my Dad, Derek Gunn. My Dad was recently diagnosed with an arachnoid cyst in his brain, causing issues with his quality of life. The symptoms he is experiencing from this brain cyst include moderate to severe headaches, some instability/ balance issues, upset stomach, and fatigue. Dad had an appointment with a neurosurgeon, who said that surgery is not needed at this time, but he will need to work with a neurologist and will need future MRIs to ensure the cyst does not require surgical removal or cause further issues. While he is recovering and taking the next steps to move forward in his recovery, he could use a little help financially. This GoFundMe will be used to help with typical bills that need to be paid while he is recovering. We hope to raise $2,500 to cover expenses until he is back on his feet. Thank you kindly.
