Walking into the future!
Donation protected
Update: As many of you know Emmett had double hip surgery three weeks ago! He is doing great and healing well. We just got the ok to order the Trexo as it will be great in the recovery process! Thank you everyone for the continued support!

Hello everyone! This GoFundMe is for our son Emmett. Emmett has been defying the odds ever since he was born. Emmett has a rare genetic disease which only around 40 kids/adults have in the world. UBA5 causes Emmett to have seizure, spastic muscles and low tone. We have been working on walking in a gait trainer for almost a year. He has gotten up to 6 consecutive steps on his own. This is huge for someone who was told he would never walk.

In September Emmett was able to trail the Trexo at Cincinnati Children. For the first time in Emmetts life he was able to walk on his own for 20 minutes and took 423 steps. Seeing your son walk consecutively for 20 minutes is a feeling I thought we would never get to have. Trexo has made this possible for us. Trexo is an amazing piece of equipment that uses technology (basically robotic legs) to help kids walk.

Due to the nature of how the technology work it makes this piece of equipment very expensive. We are looking for help in being able to get Emmett his own Trexo that he can use everyday. Thank you so much for supporting Emmett and giving him the gift of walking. You all are changing his life!

Thank you for your continued support!
