We Need a Car!

My name is Kaitlyn and I am the mother to a wonderful 3 year old and a great 17 year old. I work full time to support my little family as a single mom. I spent all my savings and my tax return on securing my apartment in February.

My car recently blew its headgasget and I will barely get $400 for my car. I live in a slightly remote area because it was all I could afford thinking I had my trusty 2004 scion to take care of me.

Now that it's gone I have no way to get my daughter too and from child care while I work. And uber is almost a days pay and I need every penny to pay rent and bills. I also used this car for my second job doing uber eats and a two other app based gig leads where I am turning down multiple shifts a week currently.

If I can't get my child to daycare I risk losing my last consistent job.l that i can walk to.

A car would keep us from losing our home and ending up in a shelter.
