Hello! My name is Gavin, a 28-year-old trans guy, who is looking for a some help the cost of top surgery. I was hoping my insurance would cover some of the cost, but it was denied, probably due to the state of things in the US. I recently received a quote for it, which was thankfully a lot less than I thought it would be, but I have a feeling I will have a little trouble saving for it.

I don't mind if the full amount doesn't get raised and I am not expecting it to be, I will be grateful to have any kind of help towards the price of the surgery as I am also going to try to save as much as I can.

If the amount does get fully raised by the time my surgery is confirmed, I am going to use any amount of the money I personally saved to buy the necessary items I would need for recovery. Items such as clothing that will be easy to put on and take off, mastectomy recovery items, scar strips, and any food items that I can eat since they told me I would be on a low-sodium diet after surgery.
