Support Lisa's Journey to Recovery

Hello I’m Gail Miller and this fundraiser is for my wife Lisa and our family. She had started hurting in her leg last Saturday. Her pain got worse to the point she couldn’t bare being in any sitting position. By Wednesday, she went to the ER and a CT revealed she had 3 bulging discs in her back. She was given shots for pain, steroids and muscle relaxers and referred to a neuro doctor. The pain was so intense the next day, she couldn’t walk. Thinking her condition may have gotten worse, we got an ambulance to take her to the hospital. The only thing they did was an ultrasound to check for a blood clot in her leg. It was negative. We got a referral to a spine doctor closer to the hospital. She has an appointment this coming Thursday.

She was supposed to to return to work this Tuesday but I honestly don’t know if she’ll be able to. She can only stand for short amounts of time. She’s doing as much as she can, getting up and walking periodically as well as trips to the bathroom. Nothing would make her happier than for the pain to go away so she can get back to work. Her missing her is driving her crazy about our bills. It takes both of us working, just like most folks, to make it financially. Unless you’re rich, it’s a daily struggle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It will help with these spine dr appointments which have a $75 copay and for any other bills. Thank you and God bless
