Help save Pooky!!

Hi, my name is Kristen and I'm a 32 year old woman with disabilities that range I'm severity, keeping me from working.

At the moment, I live with my mother in a hotel and have been for over three years now. Currently I'm awaiting trial to get my disability money, so in the mean time, my mother is the only one working and all of our money goes directly to rent, gas, and food.

I have three cats, two are over 10and all three are my emotional support animals. Not just that, they're my babies who give me a reason to live.

About two months ago, spooky (pooky) a 14 year old kitty, had gotten sick. We unfortunately were not able to find out what was wrong with her and after a few days of pumpkin, she was back to her active self.

During these two months, we have seen a drastic change in her weight, she hardly weighs 5 pounds now. She has recently been to the vet and the news isn't great, but there is still hope! She does have hyperthyroidism, but our main concern at the moment is a liver problem and heart disease. She has 100 times higher enzymes than normal, so she's been placed on a lot of medicine to help kick what may be an infection and liver support medication.

They want to do an ultrasound asap! But that is over $700. The donated $550 has gone to her vet bills and medications so we are at square one with money, unfortunately vet bills are outrageously expensive.

We currently have no money to put towards this poor baby and before you think I should give her to the pound, due to age and her skittishness, she will be put down.

So I ask from the bottom of my heart to please help us get to our goal! We fear we do not have much more time with her if this doesn't work...
