I have some news to share. Two days before Christmas I was diagnosed with breast cancer. These last two weeks have been kind of a blur with so many appointments, a ton of information, and more emotions than I have ever had to handle. I met with the oncologist today. I will have a port placed on Tuesday Jan 14th, and will begin Chemotherapy on Thursday Jan 16th. I will do 16 rounds of chemo over 20 weeks, and then will have surgery afterwards. I have an amazing care team, and even better support system by my side. I am choosing to remain positive, and find joy where I can, even on the hardest days. Please send all the prayers and positive vibes to my family and I as we transition into this next journey of life. And thank you to everyone who has been by my side since I found out. You guys are what has kept me sane and positive these last two weeks

I’ve had several people ask me about doing a Fundraiser for Tara while she’s in this little bump in life. The treatment plan has progressed pretty fast so she will be out of work sooner than expected. I believe we all want the best for her recovery and want to ease the financial burden as much as possible. Please consider giving if you can. Most importantly, please come together in prayer with her and everyone around her.
