BT Harps Needs help to finance an Astro Pitch in Templemore

"In order to Build a full-size Astro Pitch, maintain our excellent facilities and cover the shortfall between the sports capital grant and costs required, we are looking for the support and help from business, families, members and past members, people who are living or were living in the North Tipperary community to help donate to our fundraiser.

BT Harps are currently revamping our facilities in a major new development that will include a full-size all-weather pitch. This will be available for usage to all schools and other sporting organizations from the area. We have had no choice but to build an Astro as there are 1000s of kids and adults losing out on game time and training every week in our region.

The difficulty for teams trying to play on grass pitches is the weather . Our pitches are not able to hold that amount of moisture and the result is there are games been called off nearly every week. The climate change over the last number years has had an effect on the grass pitches and has caused problems with games been called off . The volume of games simply can not be played on wet pitches . There are no full size Astro pitches in North Tipperary . The building of this pitch is really important for all teams in the North Tipp football league.

This is a generational project, BT Harps has served young and old alike for many years, please support us to do so for many years to come.
