I am asking for help for my aunt. About a month ago, she was rushed to the hospital and was told she had stage 4 cancer. This is what she wrote on FB: She is not one to ask for help as she is the one that is usually helping others. So I am asking for you to help me help her .The money will be helping her get the first 2 treatments .

It's sad that money comes before your health. 3 days before my 1st chemo treatment, I get told if I don't have $2,500.00 before my visit, I cannot have my treatment. Stage 4 throat cancer... also, if I had any other cancer, there are funds to help... also cannot make a payment plan... not to mention in 3 weeks I'm going to have to have another $2,500.00 if I want my 2nd treatment... Let me remind you, I have insurance... that's just what my insurance doesn't cover. As everyone that knows me knows, my husband is a long-haul truck driver. In order for him to make money, he has to stay on the road...

With him being by my side when I was first diagnosed and having my trach and feeding tube put in, he stayed by me... so that means no wheels turning, no money being made... now that this is being dropped like a bomb on us, he has to now stay on the road so he can come up with the funds to have my treatments... I wonder if it's all worth it at times... losing everything we, or should I say he, has worked so hard for or my health... I just can't wrap my head around there being no help for people like me... head and neck cancer and no funds to help, but if it were any other cancer, there is... how is that?!

Now I'm sitting here stressing over money and my health! I know God is in control, don't get me wrong, and everything happens for a reason, but when money comes before your life, that's hard to swallow! Well, sorry for the long vent!!
