Leon's medical expenses

Hi, my name is Rosalinda and I am starting this fundraiser to help Tiffany, Leon's mom, with some unexpected medical bills.

Leon was unexpectantly admitted into the hospital ICU shortly after Christmas 2022. Sadly Leon did not get to go home right away and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. We are all happy for the many answered prayers, that he is home and adjusting well to a different way of life.

Type 1 diabetes requires a great deal of monitoring and Tiffany is doing a great job with meal planning, insulin injections and making sure Leon is getting the care he needs. This type of care has been a challenge and great defeat to her financially. On top of the medical bills from the hospital, there are doctor visits, monthly insulin needs and hopes for a pump/monitor so Leon gets the insulin he needs when he needs it. Type 1 diabetes is a lifelong disease and has no cure.

All money donated will go to the medical expenses left to pay for 2022 and the monthly bills for 2023 and we are praying for a pump/monitor to also be covered. Tiffany plans for her and Leon to move back home with her mom so she can afford the monthly bills, however, this will not happen for a few more months due to a lease agreement she has with her landlord. We appreciate any amount you can give and have faith in knowing that these needs will be met.
