Going through a rough time.

Hello all,

I’ve found myself in a daunting predicament and although I’m not the most comfortable in being vulnerable and reaching out, I feel as though I must. On October 30th, I am scheduled to have major back surgery (a laminectomy) to remove some bone spurs that have been pushing against my spinal column and causing severe pain. I’ve tried less invasive treatments in the past such as steroid injections and those have not worked, even made the pain worse. The recovery time of the surgery is an entire 8 weeks long where I will not be able to work and will need assistance with even getting myself to the bathroom. My partner also recently had surgery and has left him not being able to work either. With both of us losing income, we will be struggling with medical bills, utilities, gas for getting to future physical therapy appointments and check ups, keeping the fridge stocked, new clothes for school for the kids, etc. As some of you know my partner and I have 4 amazing kids and I am hoping that by reaching out we may be able to raise some money for financial assistance in keeping the household afloat. My kids are my entire world and my goal is to keep them healthy and happy. Any amount of donation would be GREATLY appreciated and again, I considered this page as a last resort but my hope is to provide basic needs for my children and make sure they have everything they need. Every dollar will go towards their needs. From one family to another, I sincerely thank you so much for taking the time to even read this and know that my family would be extremely appreciative of anything anyone is able to offer.
