Stop the Oakwood Hills Power Plant

Three east side McHenry County communities (Oakwood Hills, Crystal Lake, Prairie Grove, Island Lake, Cary) are facing very seroius threat that has the potential to lower property values and make the East side of Crystal Lake/Prairie Grove and Oakwood Hills undesireable places to live. The power plant may change the fabric of our beautiful residential communities. Please support the cause and donate whatever you can to help us win this battle!
This battle is heating up and we're going to need money to keep it going. In short notice, we need to be prepared to fund attorney's fees and expert testimony, etc.
When this battle was fought in 1999 against Reliant energy's plans for a Peaker plant in Woodstock, a similar sum was raised and used to win the case.
