Baltimore Shakespeare Factory needs your help.

A year ago BSF had just kicked off our 2020 season with Henry V, but before we could launch our spring production of King Lear in Original Pronunciation we were forced to shut our doors and halt our onstage and in-person offerings due to the COVID19 pandemic.

However, we were determined to continue to offer our amazing summer Interactive Shakespeare education programs for area students in the suddenly virtual theatre world. In 2021 we’ve had a blast producing radio play versions of The Tempest and As You Like It. At the same time we’ve maintained the rent and utilities for the space which houses our world-class recreation early modern stage, The Kestrel.

But without you, our dedicated audience, we just haven’t been able to regain the financial footing that allows BSF to bring our unique blend of outreach and scholarship to the community.

Join us in committing to the future of Baltimore Shakespeare Factory with a donation to our campaign. We’re pursuing additional grants and funding, but in the meantime we are seeking $20,000 to offset operating expenses and give us the boost we need to rebuild and reopen as soon as it’s safe for our actors and audiences.

Please donate, share, and keep an eye on this GoFundMe campaign as well as our website at www.baltimoreshakespearefactory.org  for updates and new offerings such as a return of Bard to the Bone and our 2021 Summer Programs. Every little bit really does help!

Will Baltimore Shakespeare Factory merely survive?
With your help, we will thrive!
