Hi, I'm Khalil and I started this campaign to help my friend Husam and his family in the crisis.
In war-torn Gaza, Husam's children are living a nightmare no child should endure. Their home, once a sanctuary, now lies in ruins. Their days, once filled with laughter and play, are now clouded by fear and uncertainty.
Husam, a dedicated doctor, served tirelessly on the front lines, witnessing unimaginable suffering. Now, his own family faces displacement, struggling to survive without basic necessities, their lives shattered by the relentless conflict.
Imagine the terror in their young eyes, the trauma etched into their hearts. The horrors they've witnessed have stolen their childhood innocence and replaced it with a deep sense of loss and vulnerability. Every day is a struggle for survival, their dreams and aspirations overshadowed by the harsh realities of war.

Donations will help to cover the expenses of family journey to safty as following:
- $6,000 for each adult to cover the costs of crossing the Egyptian border and reaching Cairo, with an additional $2,500 allocated for each of child. This totals $19,500 for the entire family's travel expenses.
- Basic necessities such as clothing and essential personal items, ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 per individual, will be essential due to the need for traveling lightly without any belongings, given the destruction of their home.
- Rental expenses for an apartment, estimated at $4,000 for a six-month period.
- Monthly living cost of approximately $800, totaling $5,000 over six months, are crucial.
- Additionally, any surplus donations from the campaign will be utilized to address extended durations of the war or towards repairing the severely damaged shelter.
