BSC Adventures
Donation protected
The Blind Stokers Club Adventures (BSCA) initiative brings group bicycling or other experiences with extra value in location, culture or theme, to BSC members.
The next BSCAdventures trip is bike touring for 3 days and 2 nights in Borrego Springs CA, November 8-10, 2019. Expenses are $250 per person, for transportation, lodging, and meals. The goal of $2,500 will allow full or partial sponsorship of 10 or more BSC members with financial need.
The funds received from this GoFundMe campaign will be allocated by the BSCAdventures Committee, to augment personal funds of BSC members in good standing who are ready, willing and able to enjoy adventure trips, but cannot afford it.
While Cycling for Sight (CFS) proceeds drive the club’s year-round tandem cycling program, BSCAdventures enable low-income members to realize more far-reaching dreams. Candidates for BSCA sponsorship will have declared a level of financial need at the time of registration, based on the estimated project cost model.
Any funds not allocated under the pending BSCAdventures project will be carried over to the next such project, offered annually.
Tip: when donating, alter GFM tip amount using "Other" selection.
