Jagdeep Singh

After the passing of his 27 year old son Jagdeep Singh, Boota Singh's friends have decided to support him by creating this GoFundMe in attempt to alleviate some of the cost of Jagdeep's funeral arrangements, a Pogh at the local Gurdwara (prayer and ceremony at a local Sikh temple), as well as flight cost so that he may return to live in his home country, India.

Jagdeep's mother currently resides in India. The family hoped that one day, after the immigration requirements had been met, the three of them would be reunited and living together in Canada. Boota is not yet able to work in Canada as he has been working to meet immigration policies, and so Jagdeep had been working alone to provide for the two of them. Unfortunately this means that Boota no longer has any source of financial support.

Boota dedicated his life to his son and came to Canada with the dream of giving his son the best life he could provide; Boota's entire life in Canada was his son. After his Jagdeep's passing, Boota wishes to return home to India permanently where he and his wife can grieve and be with their family. He hopes to provide a ceremony to say goodbye to his son, including the prayer and service at the Gurdwara that is customary in his culture, and to purchase a one way ticket to India. Please understand that this is a great deal of immediate expense for a person who is unable to work in Canada.

The sudden and unexpected passing of a child is something that no parent can ever be emotionally prepared for and is something that cannot be overcome, but we hope that you will consider alleviating some of the financial strain ahead of Mr. Boota Singh.

ਆਪ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਹਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਕਰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਘੱਟੀ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੀ , ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ । ਇਸ ਵਕਤ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੌੜ ਹੈ । ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ।

ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੀਏ । ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਾੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜੇ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ।
