Help Piper Run Again

As if this year couldn’t get any harder for us, our poor girl tore Both of her CCL’s and needs surgery for both legs. As most of you may know, Piper, 3yrs old, LOVES to play and run with her friends at Pennypack. Unfortunately, back in February, we had an incident with her back right leg; as she was running and playing ball with a fellow boxer friend, she collapsed and couldn’t get up. We had her checked out immediately, X-rays were taken but unfortunately, our current vet didn’t catch the issue. With taking pain pills, CBD to help numb the pain, and LOTS of bed rest, she seemed to get better but was never quite herself. Fast forward to the week of May 25th, we had taken her to the park to play and boom, same incident but her left back leg. Immediately I contacted Hopewell veterinary and got an appointment for the next week. Doc informed us that she will need surgery for both of her knees. She can hardly walk now without being in pain or limping, and we now have to carry her up and down the stairs, on the bed, and the couch. This is not the life a 3-year-old pup should live. This is so unexpected for us, and we are in need of financial help for Piper as much as we can. We would truly appreciate anything at all to help us with getting her back to her energetic and goofy self! Piper will be getting her first surgery this Thursday, June 23rd and the next surgery as soon as this one heals. Bless you all
