At the end of 2019, Kim began to have stomach pain, nausea and felt weak. Kim's not the kind of person to tell you she's sick, so when she mentioned how badly she felt, it was bad. By New Year's Day, Kim was in the emergency room undergoing a battery of tests to determine the source of the pain. A mass was found on her pancreas that could have potentially been cancerous. The solution was the Whipple procedure. Fortunately, the procedure was a success and she is cancer-free and is on a long road to recovery.
However, the whole process has left the family with expensive medical bills - even with medical insurance.
Kim is out of work for several months, leaving Jon as the sole supporter for now. They also have their young sons to care for and related expenses.
Anyone who knows Kim knows that she will help everyone as much as she can. It's time to help her. Kim and her family need our help. Whatever you are able to contribute is truly appreciated.
A heartfelt thank you!
