~Our Lives Changed in an Instant
on the Fourth of July~

On the evening of July 4th, what started as a normal family outing turned into a nightmare. We were driving home from Walmart when a reckless driver made an illegal U-turn and slammed into our car. In that moment, everything changed. My wife was injured—she suffered bruised ribs and a concussion—but thankfully, her injuries weren’t serious. Our two young daughters were safely strapped into their car seats and walked away without a scratch. I had some chest bruising and a jammed thumb. We’re incredibly grateful that we all survived, but the crash has turned our lives upside down. Our car was completely totaled. I used it every day to work as a DoorDash driver, and without it, I’ve lost my only source of income. Since the accident, I haven’t been able to make any money, and our bills are quickly piling up. We’re doing everything we can to stay strong for our kids, but it’s been a difficult road. We’re not the kind of people who ask for help lightly, but right now, we don’t have a choice. We’ve created this GoFundMe in hopes that friends, family, and generous strangers might be willing to lend a hand—whether that’s through a donation or simply by sharing our story.
