Bryson's Benefit - Lend Support To Fight Leukemia

Bryson Henderson is my nephew. He lives with his loving family in Midlothian, Virginia, with his mother Heather, father Bryan, and older sister Kylie. Bryson is curious, he's adventurous, and he loves to laugh. His third birthday is in a couple of weeks (May 24th). But unfortunately, this brave 2-year-old child is facing a challenge that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

This February, Bryson was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, cancer of the blood.

No one ever expects this to happen to them, especially not to their 2-year-old son. Nor is any family prepared for how a diagnosis like this can change everything about their day-to-day lives. Bryson requires nearly 24/7 care, which means his parents must take time off work to support him even as the medical bills continue to grow. In addition, his immune system is compromised, making him highly vulnerable to other illnesses. Being immuno-compromised makes it difficult for his family to attend public events or even to let loved ones into the home to visit him, especially in the wake of Covid-19. Life will be challenging for Bryson and his family for years to come. Despite all of this, Bryson remains brave. Despite the strain, his family remains as loving and supportive as ever.

If you already know Bryson's parents, my sister Heather and her husband Bryan, then you know they aren't the type of folks to ask for help. If you are blessed with the ability to lend your support to a family who truly needs it, I know that they would all be deeply grateful. Anything helps.
