Bryson, his friend and his friends girlfriend were involved in a incident in Scott’s Addition early Saturday morning on September 28. It happened as they left a popular bar that I will leave unnamed at this point.  6 men jumped the two of them and punched the girlfriend in her face. Punching, kicking, biting (he literally has a dental impression on his rib cage) and ultimately trying to stab Bryson. Bryson luckily was able to grab the knife to keep it from entering his chest, but his hand was deeply wounded as a result. He went to the E.R. immediately after and recieved 11 stitches. The hospital didn’t give him any pain medicine so two days later he was back in the E.R. Last Wednesday we went to the Ortho doctor and he was told it was healing beautifully.  Monday he busted a stitch and was back to the doctors.   He has been out of work since and has been trying to continue to go to his evening classes at school to keep from falling behind. Last night at school his hand started bleeding through his bandages and he was back in the E.R.  They had to remove the stitches and told him his hand wasn’t healing and some parts were going necrotic. He has to have surgery now or could potentially lose the hand.  I am paying for his truck payments, truck insurance and phone bills while he is out, but am looking for help for his medical bills as I can’t take it all on. His deductible is $4500 before the insurance pays for anything. Anything that you can donate will help and is deeply appreciated. If it were for me I would never ask, but I will for my son.
