Brynnlee's type 1 diabetes

Donation protected
On Friday the 26th of April, Brynnlee became unresponsive. We have had the stomach flu going around so naturally we thought that she was just sick because she had been throwing up for about 24 hours. Late Friday night Brooklyn(mother) decided base on her state that we needed to bring her to the emergency room in Waupaca,  Wisconsin. After arriving, they informed us that her blood sugar was over 1000 and she was very dehydrated. They tried for hours trying to get an IV in her veins to rehydrate her, but do to her dehydration their efforts were ineffective. She got an IO in(in the bone). Then told us she would need to go to Milwaukee to the childrens hospital. They sent the flight for life to come and get her as fast as possible. After nearly 24hr was still minimally responsive. We were in the ICU of the childrens hospital for 2 days before she was stable enough to move to the nonemergency floor. We now have the very big change of living with type 1 diabetes. This is the first time Brooklyn and I have dealt with diabetes. Brynnlee is now stable and home being well taken care of by me and Brooklyn, but we are still left with the large hospital bill's and the expense for medical care for the continued future. We would be truly grateful for any help for anyone that can help to get us through this huge change for our family. Any additional funds not going toward our bills and prescriptions, would be donated to the Ronald McDonald house charity for the generousity they showed us in for the time that we spent in the hospital. They provided us with a bed to sleep in and a warm shower, along with warm meals and many other generous things to make our hospital stay as stress free as possible. Thank you for your kindness.
