Hello everyone Brier from Arachne's Web and Will Vick the Blacksmith here. Our sweet Brynja who many of you have met at markets or our home is currently experiencing a medical crisis and needs your help. December 28th I brought brynja in to work for diarrhea and vomiting, we took her home with some medications and hoped she would start to feel better soon but unfortunately this was only the beginning, by the next day it was clear she was very sick and so back to work we go for more tests where she was diagnosed with sever pancreatitis, after a few days brynja seemed to be improving and her IV fluids where discontinued, unfortunately by the next day she started to turn yellow and so more blood work and we come to find that she now has sever pancreatitis as well as her liver and gall bladder are involved. This new complication ment she was hospitalized on IV fluids once again and prescribed even more medications to help support her liver and gall bladder. At this point we have done multiple blood panels and X-rays as well as an emergency ultrasound and with this hospitalization we are looking at significant expenses and we are reaching out to our wonderful community hoping to help offset some of that cost as her care is ongoing. We understand that times are tough and especially with the holidays finances are tight but every little bit helps.
