There are 4 simple words in Amos 5:4 that perfectly describes our friend's ministry and that is “Seek Me and Live”. No matter what your story was or is; good, bad, ugly or painful when you sat with Blayne he would in one way or another take you to Christ and in Him is the answers to your issues. It is always in a gentle way to give you hope, that life can be all you hope for and it will turn out ok. We all survive our messes, for the most part, it was sure nice to have Blayne there for us in a time of need.
This note is a request (our friend is in NEED) he has vocal cord cancer. This type of cancer has a great recovery rate, Praise the Lord! But what comes with the C word is fear and medical bills, lots of them. For the next 6 weeks he will be placed with a mask over his face connected to a table so he does not move and then will receive a bolt of radiation. We have no doubt he will be fine but those bills on his income is almost as frightening as the C word. He answered Gods call to be in ministry, and we are thankful for that but it comes with a price, his income is a walk of faith. He is however one of the richest men, rich in a wealth of friends and support.
This is a request to do what he has done for all of us and that is to support him now. Even a man of God has fears of being alone in this battle on both levels.
