Brycen Rustemeyer, son, brother, and friend to so many! This young man at the age of 15 was diagnosed with Leukemia . Spending 3 weeks in the hospital and the next 22 months in and out of the hospital getting treatments.
Brycen was in remission and ready to get back to playing sports. He was released to play baseball where he played third base and Outfield. He was getting ready to be released for his favorite sport the one he had been waiting to play throughout his treatments, football, where he played linebacker and offensive lineman.
On March 26, this 17 year old boy (a junior in high school) and his family recieved the devestating news, the Leukemia was back and with a vengeance! Brycen has been hospitalized ever since, except for a short 36 hours where he got to go home. Now Brycen is in ICU at Mary Bridge Hospital, needing round the clock care. As a community and friends of the family we are asking anyone who can help this family. A well loved, supportive, and very active family in this community. All of the prayers you can possibly send along with any financial support . (No amount is too small) Both parents are fighting to keep their younger son's (Brody) life as normal as possible and being there for Brycen too, taking turns, between Brodys needs and being with Brycen in the hospital. Jason and Melissa are spread so thin , yet remain positive and hopeful and continue volunteering some time with the baseball. Please pray for Brycen and his family!
