Anyone who knows me knows I have been a proud man. Well this is the hardest thing for a man to do who has trouble asking for help from others. I am the ONE who is supposed to be helping others ALL THE TIME. I will keep this short.
2014 Divorce after 25 years.
2015 Life threatening illness.
2016 Unable to work due to illness lost custody of my 2 boys with no contact for 6 months whatsoever.
9/12/16 Gained 100% custody of my 2 HUGE boys.
9/20/16 Given a clean bill of health = Cured :]
Now I am left with the challenge of starting over. I am going to make it out of this.
My boys need me like never before and I want to make them proud to be my sons again.
I have more medical and legal bills that have never been opened, than during my 43 years of living combined.  I never thought I would struggle to meet the needs of my own children. I have met challenges with every turn, including giving my last $1000 to try to get my kids out of a dangerous household only to have the attorney {whose license I verified with CA Bar} steal my money with no services rendered. Wow. That delayed me 3 months in being able to see my boys.
I have spent the last 22 years as a Registered Nurse helping others without prejudice and treating them like my own family members. I have always believed in "Paying it forward", I just never believed I would be the one asking instead of giving. I am obviously desperate and down, BUT NOT OUT!
I am asking if anyone is in a better place in life where they are blessed with the ability to help me and my boys at this most humbling time of my life.

I have proven I won't give up, with your help we may be able to get to a place of peace and security a lot sooner. After all, that is all I have wanted for my boys for them to know safety and security without the hell of the last 3 years.
