On Saturday, January 21st, 2023 our youngest son Bryce Patrick Simons left this earthly world. After Christmas, he got sick and was not getting better. On the Tuesday of that week, he went to the hospital and was diagnosed with RSV. Sadly his body was unable to fight the infection and he went into septic shock very quickly.

Bryce was surrounded by his family when a priest gave him the Sacrament of the Sick and Last Rights. Everyone was either touching or holding his hands when he raised his arms upward as if to say, I am ready! His mother heard his heartbeat for the last time.

His smile, quick wit, always seeking an adventure for new places and raising his son Maximus with his love Jo will leave an incredible hole in our hearts.

We started this fund for some memorial expenses, but mostly for Bryce and Jo's beautiful son Maximus.
