Bryce Gabriel Hernandez was born just a short nine months ago into a family that had hoped and prayed for him for so long. To say Bryce was a miracle baby is truly an understatement. Bryce was his parents, Carlos and Christine Hernandez, own personal heaven sent angel. His big "sis sis" Lilly thought the sun rose and fell around his sweet smile and precious giggles that Lilly could get him to do best. His presence brought pure joy to all who knew him and loved him. Sweet baby Bryce was diagnosed with RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) a month ago. Surrounded by unwavering love from his parents and family, Bryce fought for a month to overcome the virus. On October 19, 2021, approximately 3:00 pm, surrounded by the family who loved him most, God wrapped his loving arms around Bryce and removed the struggle from his tired body and took him home to reside among the angels in Heaven. While we all rejoice in Bryce's heavenly homecoming, the hearts he left behind are shattered and hurting. As Carlos and Christine navigate this unimaginable time, his family at O'Reilly Auto Parts would like to alleviate any stresses we can. Bryce spent his battle at UNC Chapel Hill, any donations will be going directly to the family to help with medical bills, personal bills and/or expenses, or funeral/memorial fees.
