Hi everyone!
Sorry, it has been a while since I last updated you all on how Bryant is doing.
My name is Chelsea and March of last year my husband Bryant was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Over the course of this past year, Bryant has done multiple Chemotherapy treatments. Treatments that took a toll on his body and mind. Bryant would need these treatments every 3 weeks. At the beginning of December we traveled to New York for a procedure to remove a mass. We remained in New York for almost 3 weeks. The procedure went well and the intended mass was removed however he still had a large amount of lesions on his liver. Upon returning home, Bryant resumed Chemotherapy and our hope was we could continue to shrink the tumors in the liver and eventually receive a liver transplant.
However recent scans have shot down that hope.
We have found out that his cancer is now spreading to different areas and the current chemotherapy is not helping. The doctors are now trying to figure out which chemotherapy he needs to be switched too.
At this time Bryant has been placed on extended leave from work. With Bryant being off work, the stress of all the regular bills and medical bills continue to pile up.
During this time, we are asking for any help that can be given. We are extremely grateful for everyone who has taken the time to check in, has already helped and continues to help us. Even by sharing our story.
This past year has definitely taken a toll on our family, mentally and financially. Thank you!!
