On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, Bryant Karstens was severely injured after he was run over by a combine. He is the son of Henry and Denise Karstens. Bryant sustained numerous injuries and was airlifted to HCMC. He is currently in critical but stable condition, as he has a broken clavicle, both lungs are severely bruised, and one of the lungs collapsed. He has internal bleeding, a damaged spleen, a lacerated kidney, several fractured vertebrae, and a broken left leg. In addition, he has ribs broken on both sides. He is in an extreme amount of pain, but the pain meds slow his breathing, which is already hindered due to the damage to the lungs. He can't have a spinal block with the broken vertebrae.

As his oxygen levels continued to drop, he had to be put back on the breathing tube to hopefully allow his lungs more time to heal from the trauma.

Bryant is a very considerate, hardworking, responsible young man. He has a long, difficult road ahead of him with many unknowns. Please consider helping Bryant and his family with the exorbitant expenses that come with an unforeseen tragedy such as this.
