Bryan's support for Chapter 44

When you get to hand pick people to be part of your family, you don’t pass on people as wonderful as the Penleys.

Our friend Bryan is the most kind, happy and hardworking man. He is passionate about his work and is damn good at it. This man can chat for days, doesn't know a stranger and truly enjoys helping people. Anyone who meets him immediately falls in love with his smile, laughter and positivity.

Bryan and his wife Mindy have been together for 15 years and have an adorably sweet 5yo son Lucas. They are truly blessed to have each other and an incredibly enviable bond. Since moving here from North Carolina in 2010, they can't get enough of the FL sunshine. Whether at the beach, on a boat or in the backyard, you can find them outside in God's country, loving nature and life. They all love being around family and friends whenever they can.

Now we need to embrace the Penleys with support.

Bryan has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Myxoid Liposarcoma, and needs us more than ever. Starting this week, he will begin his first round of treatment, and since it will be strong, he will be required to stay at Moffitt for four days before returning to his loves. He will undergo this for three rounds. The next step is a complicated surgery to remove the tumor involving a hip & partial femur replacement with many weeks of therapy and rehabilitation. The last step is radiation.

Mindy will definitely have her hands full with traveling to and from Moffitt and Lucas starting school. And she will not bat an eye. Bryan is her world, and she wants to be by his side every step of the way for whatever he needs. Lucas knows Daddy will be with doctors to help him feel better.

Bryan is the humble sole provider for his family, and with our help, we can ease some of their stress by donating whatever we can since he will be missing work. Anything will be graciously appreciated, whether it be meals, a kind word of support and love or money for upcoming bills and daily necessities. Being away from home and work is enough stress along with treatments and keeping healthy; let's help ease their minds.
