Hello family, friends, and kind strangers. Thank you for taking the time to hear my story and consider helping me take back control of my health and my life. My name is Bryan Lindstrand. I’m 38, recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and I’d like to share why I’m fighting—and why I need your support.
First and foremost, I’m a father and husband. Being a provider and protector is core to who I am. I’m also a grateful son, a brother to two incredible sisters (one who supports me from next door, the other is my soul twin and ghost-writing this GoFundMe from Canada), and a proud member of the Tyler, Texas Risen Dead Motorcycle Club—a brotherhood that fills my heart more than I can put into words.
I’ve always chased adventure. After a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2018—not my fault, for the record—I started living with more intention. My work as an audio engineer takes me around the United States, and I use every spare moment (And every accumulated Air Mile) to explore new places and people. That accident felt like divine intervention, a second chance that made me fiercely grateful for my wife, family, and friends.
Then, in August 2025, everything changed again. My body—the same one that had clawed its way back from trauma and carried me through so many adventures—suddenly failed me. A storm of excruciating and debilitating neurological symptoms turned out to be a Multiple Sclerosis flare-up.
My diagnosis brought both relief and dread. Relief that my terrifying symptoms had an explanation; dread because the explanation was a disease slowly attacking my brain. The questions came fast, and none of them had easy answers.
But I’m a man of action. I refuse to let MS take away the life I’ve built: being a present father, a supportive husband, a skilled provider, a loyal friend, a dependable son, and a brother who is ever-loving yet antagonizing. I refuse to let MS decide where I can go or who I can be.
If MS wants a fight, it found one. And I’m happy to fight dirty.
And that’s where you come in... I need a team of courageous souls to join me. It won’t be as thrilling as Thailand on a motorcycle or Costa Rican ziplining, but it is the most life-changing journey I’ll ever take. Your support—whether big, small, or somewhere in between—means I don’t face it alone, and my family will be provided for while I temporarily step away from my career. I can’t promise victory, because nothing in life is guaranteed. But I can promise gratitude, honesty, and updates that are equal parts informative and entertaining (I did mention my talented ghost writer, right?). And hey, helping someone in need just feels good. Try it—I bet I’m right.
Below is the treatment plan best suited for my MS diagnosis. Thank you for your time, your kindness, and your belief in me. I’m humbled, hopeful, and ready for battle.
